The Board of Education for School District #33 (SD#33) and the BC Public School Employers' Association (BCPSEA) has entered into the following agreements with the Chilliwack Teachers' Association (CTA) and the British Columbia Teachers' Federation (BCTF):
Letters of Understanding:
From time to time the Local and the District agree to changes in the Collective Agreement language which are formalized through Letters of Understanding (LOUs). These LOUs become part of the Collective Agreement. In particular, the issue of the calendar and a two week Spring Break has resulted in LOUs over a number of years. We are sharing the most current LOUs.
The Settlement Agreement below is an example of an LOU that resulted from an arbitration.
