TTOC Daily Rate Effective July 2025 -June 2026

TTOC Daily Rate Calculation

A TTOC’s daily rate is based on their annual salary (category and experience level).

To calculate:

  • Divide your annual salary by 189 to get your daily rate
  • This applies to each full day worked
  • The rate is capped at Category 5, Step 8

In Simple Terms

  • Find your annual salary based on your category and step
  • Divide that number by 189
  • That gives you your daily TTOC pay

In addition, TTOCs are paid $11/day in-lieu of benefits as per Article B.2.5 below:

Teachers teaching on call shall be paid an additional compensation of $3 ($11 effective July 1, 2016) over daily rate in lieu of benefits. This benefit will be prorated for part days worked but in no case will be less than $1.50 ($5.50 effective July 1, 2016).
